Gwyneth Paltrow is stepping in — temporarily — to help clear the air about Astronomer.
On Friday (July 25), the Academy Award-winning actress and Goop founder appeared in a humorous new video for the tech company. The ad follows a viral incident involving former CEO Andy Byron and HR executive Kristin Cabot, who were caught on a Coldplay kiss cam during the band’s Boston concert earlier this month.

Shortly after Cabot’s resignation on Friday, Astronomer shared a social media video starring Paltrow — who was married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin from 2003 to 2016 — acting as the company’s “temporary spokesperson” on behalf of its employees.
“Thank you for your interest in Astronomer,” Paltrow says in the video, seated casually at a desk. “I’ve been hired on a very temporary basis to speak on behalf of the 300-plus employees at Astronomer. Astronomer has gotten a lot of questions over the last few days, and they wanted me to answer the most common ones.”
As questions flash on-screen — including “OMG! What the actual f—” and “How is your social media team hold-” — Paltrow offers responses that hilariously sidestep the actual drama.
“Yes, Astronomer is the best place to run Apache Airflow, unifying the experience of running data, ML and AI pipelines at scale,” she says cheerfully after the first inquiry. “We’ve been thrilled so many people have a newfound interest in data workflow automation.”
When the second question begins being typed out on screen, appears the Shakespeare in Love star shifts gears again, plugging the company’s upcoming Beyond Analytics event in September.
“We will now be returning to what we do best, which is delivering game-changing results for our customers,” Paltrow concludes. “Thank you for your interest in Astronomer.”
The ad arrives in the wake of the July 15 Coldplay concert at Boston’s Gillette Stadium, where a jumbotron caught Byron with his arm around Cabot during a kiss cam segment. When the pair realized they were on screen, Byron ducked out of view while Cabot quickly turned away. Both were married to other people at the time and have since resigned from the company.
“Oh, look at these two,” Martin joked from the stage. “Oh, what? Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

Congratulations are in order for Steve Aoki, who has welcomed his first child with wife Sasha.
On Friday (July 25), the 45-year-old DJ and producer announced the birth of their baby boy in a joint Instagram post with Sasha.
“Rocky77 has arrived! We’re so in love with him already,” the couple captioned an adorable photo of their newborn’s feet, complete with a hospital bracelet around his ankle.
“Even more special is that we get to celebrate our son’s birth on the same day as our wedding anniversary,” they added. “Surprise arrival he came out on his own time already writing his first chapter of life. Let the adventures begin!”
Friends and celebrities flooded the comments with warm wishes.
“How precious… and now the meaning of life itself begins,” actor Vin Diesel wrote. Fellow DJ Tiësto added, “Congrats brother,” along with several red heart emojis. Rapper Masked Wolf chimed in, “Congratulations brother!! Nothing beats it.”
Aoki and Sasha tied the knot in July 2024. He first shared the news of their “biggest collaboration yet” during a live performance at Barasti Beach in Dubai this past January, which was captured in a video on his Instagram page.
“This is a special moment. This is my wife, and we’re having a baby,” Aoki told the crowd, bringing Sasha on stage.
The celebration took a fun twist when the DJ’s crew rolled out a white sheet cake decorated with his name in blue and pink letters.
“We’re going to find out if it’s a boy or if it’s a girl,” he told the audience.
Moments later, Sasha smashed the cake into Aoki’s face as blue confetti and smoke filled the stage, revealing they were expecting a son.
“It’s a boy,” flashed on the video screen as the couple shared a kiss.

Oasis and Wembley Stadium go way back. The iconic football stadium in northwest London is, for many, the pinnacle of an artist’s career. Everyone from Taylor Swift to Michael Jackson have dominated the 90,000-capacity ground. Come late August, Coldplay will hold the record with 16 sold-out shows.
Back in 2000 the Gallagher brothers swaggered Wembley Way for their maiden appearance — but Liam was distinctly unimpressed. “If you think I’m over the moon to be here, then you must be trippin,’” he said on the second of their two-night stand, later calling it a “s—t hole.” This was prior to the stadium’s renovation, and the band returned in 2009 on their final tour.
But that 2000 show — dubbed one of their most “disastrous” shows — still lives long in the memory. It was immortalised on the Familiar to Millions live LP and broadcast live on U.K. television. The show included instances of LG mouthing off about his divorce (“I don’t even have a f—g teabag to my name”) and whatever substances were rattling around the dressing room (“I’m in one of them moods,” he warned). The performance itself was sloppy and languid compared to their previous highs at Maine Road and Knebworth in 1996.
A quarter of a century later, the vibes could not be more different. The band’s Live ‘25 tour — which has so far visited Cardiff and Manchester — has seen them on red-hot form: Liam’s vocals are on top notch, Noel and the rest of the band’s playing is as unified as its been for decades and, thus far, no dramas from the pair. They’re sounding crisper and more energised as the tour rolls on, and the U.K. public are properly mad fer it, as they dominate the Albums Chart once more and the populus proudly sport Oasis-branded clobber.
These were the best moments from Oasis’ opening night on Friday (July 25) at Wembley Stadium on the band’s Live ‘25 reunion tour.
Ra-ra-ah-ah-ah, roma-roma-ma, Gaga, ooh Labubu … Lady Gaga is getting in on a certain plushie craze.

In a whimsical TikTok posted Friday (July 25), the pop superstar filmed herself seemingly getting ready backstage for a concert, all dressed up in one of her Mayhem Ball tour outfits. With her hair teased into the shape of two bunny ears — similar to those sported by the fuzzy little monster keychains you keep seeing attached to everyone’s bags and purses — Gaga says in a silly, high-pitched voice, “I’m a Labubu!”
“Labubu!” she repeats before sticking her tongue out slightly at the camera.
For those not yet in on the trend, Labubus are collectible dolls sold by Chinese brand Pop Mart. With sharp teeth and goblin-like faces peeking out of their variously colored fur suits, the toys are basically just portable little monsters — an especially fitting product for Gaga, considering the name of her fanbase.
Mother Monster’s funny video comes shortly after she finished the second of three Mayhem shows at San Francisco’s Chase Center, at which she’ll play one more concert on July 26. The Grammy winner’s trek kicked off earlier in July with three performances in Las Vegas, and Gaga will continue touring through North America, Europe and Australia throughout the rest of 2025.
The trek comes in support of Gaga’s Mayhem album, which dropped this past May. Debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the project found the A Star Is Born actress returning to her dark dance-pop roots.
“Part of my personal mayhem is that it’s fun, and that’s why I keep doing it,” she told Billboardof the LP in a March interview. “That’s what makes it complicated — it is dark, and it pulls me away from myself, but it’s also the best time. It’s that point where you’re at the party, and you’re totally numbing out, and you’ve fully accepted that by the morning you are not going to feel well, but you’re fully in it.”

Speaking of voracious reading, Gad recently joined the Kindle Kids Backseat Book Crew to encourage kids to read more this summer.
The Frozen actor and self-proclaimed “road trip expert” knows this sentiment well, given he’s always on the go. With summer travel plans made, kids wrangled and bags packed, sometimes the last thing on our minds is curling up with a good book. As a dad of two, Gad knows a thing or two about keeping kids entertained on a road trip. With Kindle’s help, his little ones and children will be able to cultivate a love of reading wherever their travels may take them, thanks to this virtual book club.
Kindle Paperwhite Kids in Starfish
“I remember probably up until the age of 14, dreading reading,” Gad tells Billboard. “It was like work and I didn’t want to do it … and then something clicked, and I fell in love with reading.”
To start your family’s reading journey, you can sign up now at kindlekidsbackseatbookcrew.com. Upon signing up, you will receive a members-only Backseat Book Crew Bundle filled with reading-themed stickers, a “Kindle Kid On Board” bumper sticker, reading recommendations for the summer, a patch and a 10% off promo code for your next Kindle Kids or Kindle Paperwhite Kids purchase on Amazon.com.
Gad explained that his kids are voracious readers, able to breeze through multiple stories quickly. Who has the space or time to carry six different hardcovers on a road trip? Certainly not Gad. Thus, the beauty of the Kindle. “Having a device like this, which my wife and I joke, is like screen time we can actually get behind, is amazing. Kids sit in the back seat. When we’re on a road trip, they will either read or listen to their books.”
Don’t have a Kindle? Right now, Kindle Kids is available for $129.99 on Amazon in whimsical Ocean Explorer, Space Whale and Unicorn Valley designs. You can also grab the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Kids in Cyber City and Starfish style for $179.99, also on Amazon.
Kindle’s library features thousands books for children, available at their fingertips. No matter how fast of a reader your little one is, you’ll never run out of reading material. “The kids curate their own selections of authors and books and share with each other … and on average … kids who are using a Kindle will read at least one hour a day that, to me, is like manna from heaven,” Gad says. “Incentivizing kids to read. I’m like, yes, yes, yes, Sign me up.”
A hardcover book that reimagines Homer’s enduring masterwork, The Iliad
I know you’re all dying to know: What does a busy celeb read on his time off on set? The answer might surprise you. “As of late, books that I’ve read that I’ve loved, James by Percival Everett,” the actor shares. “I’m obsessed with Madeleine Miller, who wrote both The Song of Achilles and Cersei … Erik Larson remains one of my favorite authors..In the Garden of Beasts or The Splendid and the Vile are great.”
Interestingly, Gad is also reading a lot of books about World War 2 and fascism to prep for his role in the upcoming project that takes place in that period. “None of these books I would call very entertaining, and none of these books are by choice,” Gad jokes.” As for music he’s currently bumping, Gad says he’s been going through a Kendrick Lamar phase: “My music is really defined right now by my children. So it’s lots of Sabrina (Carpenter), it’s lots of T-Swift, it’s lots of Kendrick, it’s lots of Beyonce … Charlie XCX. It’s it’s all the usual suspects.”
Tyler, the Creator is for the kids. After a fan requested that Tyler bring a clean version ofDon’t Tap the Glassto streaming services, the Grammy-winning artist answered the call and came through on Friday (July 25).
The edited edition of Don’t Tap the Glass is now on Apple Music, marking the first time Tyler has released clean versions of his albums on streaming platforms, which is sure to make parents across the country happy.
A fan tweeted at Tyler on Tuesday (July 22), hoping to get a clean version to jam to the new album with his younger brother.
As the saying goes, you miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take, and this one swished through the net. “YO @tylerthecreator are you gonna put out a clean version? my lil brother tryna dance too,” the user wrote.
Tyler responded hours later, saying he was “on it.” Promises were made, and promises were delivered on Friday. “Done,” he followed up to show that the mission was complete. “DONT TAP THE GLASS clean version OUT NOW,” Tyler added on X.
Don’t Tap the Glass arrived on Monday (July 21), boasting 10 tracks with features from Pharrell, Yebba and Madison McFerrin.
While he dropped off his ninth studio album earlier this week, Tyler is still on the road in support of Chromakopia. The North American trek continues on Friday with a show in Toronto before returning to the U.S. for a pair of dates in New Jersey.
